1. Blockchain Use
🟠Status: Vision
This page presents the forward-looking architectural vision of blockchain integration within the 0Fx protocol. While certain components like Layer 2 deployment on Arbitrum are live, core innovations such as TVL-free bridges and the custom Layer 3 EVM remain under development. These initiatives outline the protocol’s long-term ambition to optimize scalability, security, and interoperability across the blockchain stack.
Blockchain Use
Unlocking the Full Potential of Blockchain Technology
In our journey to redefine the Web3 landscape, we focus on optimizing the foundational layer — the blockchain infrastructure that powers the entire 0Fx ecosystem. This includes key areas such as security, transaction efficiency, scalability, and interoperability.
Inter-Chain Transfers with TVL-Free Bridges
We envision the development of a TVL-Free Bridge system — enabling seamless token movement across blockchains without relying on locked collateral (TVL).
This mechanism involves:
The permanent burn of the original token on its native chain.
The minting of an equivalent token on the destination chain, after verification by a set of decentralized oracles.
This approach drastically reduces the risks associated with cross-chain liquidity, improves capital efficiency, and maintains token value and functionality across ecosystems. It's a foundational step toward true blockchain interoperability.
Layered Security: Best of Layer 1 and Layer 2
For optimal security and low-cost performance, 0Fx is built on Arbitrum, a Layer 2 rollup secured by Ethereum. This architecture combines:
Ethereum's robust Layer 1 decentralization and security.
Arbitrum’s transaction scalability and reduced gas fees.
This layered approach allows users to benefit from a highly secure and efficient environment for all on-chain operations within the 0Fx ecosystem.
The 0Fx Layer 3 EVM: Maximum Scalability, Minimal Costs
We are developing a custom Layer 3 EVM solution tailored for extreme scalability and near-zero fees. This Layer 3 will:
Support ultra-high transaction throughput.
Drastically lower operational costs.
Enable programmable scalability by integrating optimized consensus and data processing methods.
It is designed to be modular, developer-friendly, and natively aligned with the unique economic primitives of the 0Fx Protocol.
Vision-First, Structure-Later
The Blockchain Use pillar of 0Fx is where innovation meets foundational strength. Our protocol is built to evolve rapidly — but always anchored in real utility and performance. This section reflects the ongoing design philosophy rather than live implementations.
Join us as we turn these blueprint ideas into operational layers that redefine how blockchain infrastructure is deployed, accessed, and scaled.
