# DAO Governance

## 🟠 Status: Vision

This page outlines a conceptual feature currently under development. DAO Governance will be a core component of the 0Fx ecosystem and will operate under the 0Fx DAO Governance structure using Snapshot and other decentralized decision-making tools.

### DAO Governance

Decentralized decision-making and ecosystem transparency

The DAO Governance module of the 0Fx Protocol is designed to offer full transparency, traceability, and participatory power to the community. It centralizes all governance-related activities, token information, protocol parameters, and ecosystem metrics—turning 0Fx into a truly community-driven protocol.

### Section 1: 0FX Token Metrics

This section offers a full overview of the 0FX token’s economic and market data:

* **Token Price**: Real-time market valuation of the 0FX token.
* **Market Capitalization**: Calculation of the current market cap.
* **Tokenomics**: Distribution breakdown, allocation schedules, and lock/unlock mechanisms.
* **Community Metrics**: Monitoring engagement and token holder growth.
* **Budget Tracking**: Transparent view of protocol fund flows (treasury, reserves, expenditures).

### Section 2: Protocol Governance Interface

This area enables full visibility and participation in the protocol’s evolution:

* **Proposal History**: Access to all governance proposals, including vote results and linked discussions.
* **Recent Proposals**: Highlight of the latest two active or resolved proposals.
* **Changelog**: Log of all updates to the protocol’s smart contracts, tokenomics, and ecosystem rules.

Community members can also submit new proposals, enabling real influence over the protocol’s direction.

### Section 3: Ecosystem Metrics

This section aggregates key performance indicators from the entire ecosystem:

* **0FX Tokens Burned**: Live counter of tokens burned through usage or protocol operations.
* **Application Count**: Number of active dApps within the 0Fx ecosystem.
* **TVL (Total Value Locked)**: Full TVL across the ecosystem and per application.

### Conclusion

The 0Fx DAO Governance structure is built to provide best-in-class transparency and participatory power for the community. Based on Snapshot (a trusted off-chain governance system), it ensures secure, scalable governance with optional on-chain extension modules in the future.

By combining live metrics, open voting, and complete traceability, 0Fx DAO Governance becomes more than a governance module—it becomes the interface between the protocol and its community of stakeholders.
